Holly Hill is a city in Volusia County, Florida, on the mainland west of the Halifax River, set between the larger coastal cities of Daytona Beach and Ormond Beach. Its population is roughly 13,000. Unlike its neighbors, whose city limits span both the mainland and the beachfront barrier island, Holly Hill lies entirely on the mainland, giving it a distinct, riverfront-oriented character. The city was incorporated in 1901 and covers just over four square miles.
